First promo for The Vampire Diaries season three

I was terrified to watch but I think it looks ok. It actually made me more excited than I have been for about a month, so that's good. This line gave me faith in the possibilities for season three again: "Is that what you guys all want me to do? Get on with my life?"

But I gotta say I want to get some inkling of what's going on with Bonnie and Jeremy (their separate stories, not their looove story.) Because there's been hardly anything said about them in interviews. Just basically that they can't talk about Jeremy's storyline at all cause they're trying to keep it a big mystery. And pretty much zilch on Bonnie.

Also? That looks like some super sex gymnastics, Caroline vaulting herself onto a half-naked Tyler. Not complaining. Just, wow!

Yeah I am kind of surprised they showed that. I think I read an interview just last week where they promoted the triangle again, which I felt like it was pretty much over with. (I like Matt as a character, but that particular story thread seemed like it was coming to a close.) Looks like a different story when you watch the promo!

At one point over the summer I decided that this whole "just friends" thing was going to be a lie and that Tyler and Caroline would really be having a secret relationship. And the fact that she's almost literally sprinting to him kind of reinforces that. Secret hook ups are always so fun to watch. (But always end in heartache don't they?) This could be the whole vampire, werewolf stigma, but if they are carrying on secretly, I would guess that it's more to do with the fact that Matt and Tyler were best friends? I don't know. *shrug* But yeah, that definitely looks like a secret tryst of some sort.
