Well, sometimes she comes on as a bit too strong, bit too cocky and full of swagger for a lot of people. But then for others, that's why they love her. Really depends.

And then the whole love quadrangle that doesn't die, which will come a bit later if you haven't gotten to that part yet, brings up a lot of tension. That's all in the fun, for me.

Battlestar Galactica, IMHO, is the best series out there. Ever.

Ah, she does have attitude. I suppose that would put some people off.

And the love quadrangle lol. I think on lost we call these "crapazoids." I have gotten there but I have to say I really like it! I mean, it may be just that I'm seeing all these events unfold in a matter of weeks from my perspective, rather than the years that the other fans have been watching. Which can make a difference.

But trust me. NOTHING could be worse than the one on LOST. Haha.

I think I like Kara most of all because I relate to her in some ways. In other ways I don't relate at all - but I still love her. Unless we're speaking metaphorically. Hahaha.

Oh, Lost. I watched the pilot and a few random episodes and got mindfrakked so hard I decided I couldn't take the strain. *laugh*

But Katee says it's good, so maybe when I have time (and when I don't have school), I might check it out.

And, yes, the quadrangle is so very fun. And Kara has chemistry with just about every character in the show because, well, she's Starbuck.

Like me, really. Can't help but love her and get pissed when she messes up and all. Up to the point that my sister has to nudge me a little and say, "She's not a real person. Okay?"

Then I go, "Like hell she is. Starbuck pwns all." *laugh*

I'm pretty new to the fandom too...I think the reason some people don't like her is they find her too cocky, insubordinate, drunk, and out of control. Pretty much the same reasons I think she's awesome!!! hahaha It's all a matter of perspective. For me, she represents the 'frak you' way of living that many of us WISH we could be like but don't have the guts.


And I love the icons/icons. Even though I'm a huge Kara fan, I think my fav in this set is icon 10. What a great cap!!! haha

Bahahaha. This is what happens when you cut together 10 icons of one banner. But other than that it's safe to say you're right. Starbuck's awesome! Liek woah.

I saw some blooper footage and Mary looks like a freakin' riot! Haha. And I'm slowly falling in love with James Callis lol. He and Tricia were on some panel that Kevin Smith hosted and that was really cool to watch. It was like a half hour on youtube. James sounds like he's the show's no. 1 fan the way he talks about it.

He's amazing. Dayl and I were talking about how fantastic his performance is. Esp. in certain parts of s3 where he's all depressed and in near tears in every. single. episode.

I'm still torn on Baltar. I really love to watch his character. But I'm not sure I LOVE his character. Obviously this is not the way he would have hoped things had gone. But seriously, EVERYTHING is his fault. Haha. And he's always looking out for number one. You know. How can he save himself? But at the same time I think he's always very morally torn, which does suggest he HAS morals... he just doesn't excercise them. Haha. I dunno. I like him. He's just perplexing. Hahah.

By the way, I'm up to ep. 9 in s3 (points to banner) but I haven't watched a new ep in like 4 days. (Yeah I'm restraining myself.) And you are right, I can't believe what happened on New Caprica. And seriously, my Starbuck love kinda plummeted (but at the same time grew and grew! how's that work?) when she ran off the next morning and married Anders (cutie!) I'm still not sure I understand it. Why would she? Why? I just? Huh? Starbuck? You're stupid. LOL. I mean Anders... um!yes. But why profess your love to another and hours later marry someone else? Sense, this does not make! (Where the heck did Yoda come from?)

Also, random, ZOMG BILLY! Nooooo!! How could you keep something like that from me Sara? Haha.
And when Roslin went in there and fixed his hair! Oh! *clutches heart*

But Unifinished Business was a really cool ep anyway. Dude when the Chief was beating up on Adama! That was hard to watch! And Adama's, kind of, realization that he'd gotten too close to his crew. Aw. And it almost seemed to me like he blamed himself for them being down there when the cylons took over. *hugs him*

Dayln and I have also decided that the Chief has a kind of Jeffrey Dean Morgan feel to him. He oozes of comfort. Just his voice and his kind face. We want to snuggle him.

And Sharon. Oh, Sharon! I love her so much. Hahah.

We also decided that the chief and helo needed to have some serious "man-time" when in the brig together. Haha.
