01. Supernatural, Fresh Blood. In which I think the things that Sam said to Dean in this ep, are the same things I wanted to say to the show last week. Just be my "brother again, Dean." Or just be my "show again, Supernatural." And this week, it did. The darkness needs to be there. Scenes like that last one? We need those. I remember when everybody freaked the fuck out because Buffy season six was so damn dark. But it needed to be. If it hadn't been, it would have betrayed everything that had come before it, and everything the characters were going through at the time. Please give us that, Supernatural. I love the angst, and I love the sprinkled humor, but this needs to be a dark time for the show. I just can't see it playing well any other way.

02. Bela, to me, is a pointless character. I don't like her. And I don't like the fact that she shot Sam and nobody seems to give a shit. She makes me want to slap a bitch.

03. On Katie Cassidy: I do not see the big deal. She's twenty. She's human. And it is none of our damn business anyway. And I just personally think everybody needs to STFU about it. There are more important things to worry about. And also? Your mom! Side-note: More Ruby! kthnx.

ETA: Thank you [livejournal.com profile] arabella_hope for the icon. Hee!

04. [livejournal.com profile] purestvixen, Jen, posted her very first video, light shining through. It's an ensemble Friday Night Lights piece to Howie Day's Collide and it's one of the best "first" vids I've ever seen. So good! Check it out!

RE Buffy (since I can't not talk about it if someone poses the pong): I will give you that Season Six needed to be that dark. But I still hated it. I liked maybe two episodes and the rest of it kind of made me sick. Mostly because of the Spuffy sex and the fact that Willow as such a fucking idiot I spent most of my time wanting to slap her.

I cannot live, week in and week out, with seeing characters I love broken down as low as they can go. I don't want that to happen on Supernatural because it was hard enough to tolerate it on Buffy. I am not a fan of the dark. Not because it isn't realistic, I acknowledge that it is, but because it's hard as all hell to watch. I walked away from Buffy during Season Six because I hated it so much. I don't want to walk away from Supernatural too.

And that should have been "point" not "pong". Early morning makes my spelling crummy.

I do think it needs to be dark. I probably didn't express myself really well above. I mean I do like the sprinkled humor. But I like it sprinkled, y'know? It's just been way too much this season so far. And I think seasons 1 and 2 were far darker than anything has been this season. So I would expect it to be at least as dark if not a little more-so than they were.

And I understand that people find it hard to watch that kind of stuff, but I think it's supposed to be uncomfortable. The fact that it was shows to me they were doing their jobs.

They could have scaled back, on Buffy, I'll admit. But at the same time, I liked the way they handled it.

*hugs my fellow buffy fan*

03. I saw that, on Perez Hilton, no less. *shakes head* But I agree with you. Moving on, you know?

But Gordon freaked the hell out of me - I watched in the basement and yeah, just a creaky old house is not a good place. *g*

Oh, Perez Hilton. That guy's reputation precedes him. (No really, I have no idea what he looks like, haha. But I know who he is!)

Yes, let us move on please.

And dude, Gordon was totally freaky! I'm gonna miss that guy... lol.

I figured, though, that he might sick around at least for another episode or something and then BANG.

I was a total girl too when Sam was killing him and his head was starting to - *shudders* I'm still going ew, ew, ew.

Hahaha, yeah it was pretty gross. But you know I just recently watched 30 days of night, and there's a *cough* scene with an axe (I think it was an axe.) And well, they didn't cut away, and Josh Harnett, well he just kept swinging, and wow. Hahah. I am now conditioned to bloody beheadings. Yay!

1. I agree with you (and Sam). I really feel like we as an audience don't want Dean tp just come to terms with the fact that he's going to be dead. I mean we haven't seen him really realize what that means.

And I'll tell you what that means *goes into Coach Taylor voice* that means that he'll NEVER get to have a family, he'll never get married, and had little hellion Dean Jrs. running around. He'll never get to grow old with Sam, as they hunt stuff and have family barbeques, and put up Christmas lights.

And I NEED Dean to realize this. I love the funny episodes, but they need to be scattered throughout a season, not six of them in a row thankyouverymuch.

2. I can't help but want to take her and hide in a closet with her. Other than that, it remains to be seen if she's actually going to be useful. You'd think with all the shit she has, she could save Dean.

3. Lindsay Lohan's been drinking since she got her period last year...lol okay maybe not but you get my point...

4. You are sweetheart for the pimpage thank you.

5. GO EVERYONE! READ IT!

01. Thank you! That is exactly what I mean! And aw, omg your descriptions! Christmas lights! *sniffle*

02. I have no idea what you wanna do in that closet, but more power to ya sister.

03. LOL ILY!

04. You're welcome!

05. Yes! Please!

1. I loved the conversations between Sam and Dean this ep. It was something I wasn't expecting. I even almost cried, lol. I really liked Season 6 of buffy, the only thing was that it was a little too depressing, angsty and dark with all the craziness that went on, but it was a great way to show the characters really break down. Lots of tearjerker moments.

2. I'm glad someone feels the same way I do about Bela. Can't forgive her for shooting Sam. I just think that she's a selfish biOtch. I don't see a point for her character as well.. I mean is she only going to be good for screwing up Dean and Sams life more than it already is?? At least Dean mentioned, "If and when we get out of here alive, I'm going to kill you." lol.

3. I love Ruby. We need more Ruby!! I also have no idea what your talking about with Katie Cassidy. I haven't heard anything.

01. Yeah I was extremely happy to see those conversations. I've been frakking waiting long enough for them.

02. Thank you! Me too!

03. Apparently, she was drinking underage and tried to say she was Taylor Cole - I think that's her name, the chick who played Sarah, *points to icon* Anyway, I don't see the big deal, she got caught and tried to weasel her way out of it by giving the name of someone older, and someone, judging by the pic in my icon, she at least knows, if not is at least friends with. To all of this, and to the wankery, I give a big whatever.

At first I couldn't tell it if it was Harmony as that first vamp! And then it was and I was like, hahaha, still in the Buffy world! Until Dean killed her. Oh well.

Aww I like Bela! :( I'm glad gordon's gone tho!

I think it's kind of a bit too much of a coincidence that two former Buffy alums both played vamps on SPN.

I have the same reactions to Buffy Season Six. A lot of people hate it--and it's okay to not like the darkness, to prefer not to watch dark shit--but the people who say all the dark didn't make any sense are crazy. They were all going through some major shit, adjusting to a lot of things. Especially Buffy. If you come back from the dead--from HEAVEN--you will probably sleep with inappropriate men; hell, you might even abuse them, too! The joy of watching that season is to see them all come through that necessary confusion and stupidity stronger.

/end rant :)

I'm glad SPN looks like something you can get into again. :)

01. I loved this weeks ep. I totally agree with everything you said. Sam's speech was just like YES exactly, that's what we've been trying to tell you Supernatural! Haha - maybe my totally awesome SPN shirt is good luck? :)

02.Bela...just..ugh..needs to die.

03. What did she do? LOL *is embarassingly out of the loop* I don't care, I love the gal anyway - Ruby is awesome and needs to come back pronto.

04/05. I'm off to comment! :D

02. WORD.

03. Do you know yet? LOL. It's been a day or so I don't want to answer you if you already know. She was drinking underage. That's the short version lol.
