This might seem a bit abrupt

I'm not actually going on vacation, unlike that lucky hitchhiking penguin above. I'm actually going to attempt to swear off the internet for one month. I will check e-mail so you can write to me at superduperkc@gmail.com if you like. The reason? I was sick last week and in addition to that I've been messing about far too frequently on livejournal and youtube and all manner of internet distractions. Life and school are suffering for it. Here's a fun list... well, "fun" if you're a crazyperson!

1. School 15 hrs/week


2. Study/Homework 10+ hrs/week (Yes, I actually do! ...usually!)


3. Two finals to make up for while I was sick.


4. Reading/Homework to make up for while I was sick.


5. Work at the Library 10 hrs/week


6. Work at the Gym 12-16 hrs/week
   • Work out outside of work 3x/week (<-haven't been/need to)


7. More German Relatives on Monday for an undisclosed period of time


8. Parents going to Africa on Oct. 31st
   • Dogs heart pills/food/outside
   • Bird
   • Cat food/litter
   • Mail
   • Loads of crap my mom does that I take for granted.


9. Bradley on Nov. 1st for a week


10. Halloween Party Nov. 4th


11. Attempting to make time for friends and family


12. Lost (for now, ugh), Ugly Betty, Dexter, Grey's Anatomy. (Like you don't schedule your life around TV, too!)


13. All of the mundane things that make up the rest of my life

Maybe this list looks scary to you guys. Maybe it looks tame compared to your schedules, I don't know. But I do know that right now it's a whole lot for me to handle which makes me feel overwhelmed and when I feel overwhelmed I tend to break down and just hang out on the internet all day! So yeah, there's that.

I'll be back. If not in a month then when the semester is over. Which is like... the first week of December or something.
