I didn't watch the Oscars, but did everybody see this?

Coolest American promo for a TV show that's not on cable that I can remember seeing!

Actually, it's edgy for ABC. I totally approve. It reminds me of the Desperate Housewives European promos circa season 1-2. Those were atmospheric and edgy.

Yeah I thought it was pretty edgy and just really visually cool. Most promos tend to include actual show footage and this doesn't. I love it.

I love the edginess! I didn't watch the awards either :x It gets rather boring to me lol

Agreed about the boring awards, haha. And also the edginess!

Fiance with blood on his hands? Ooh. I thought he died in the first ep. Gosh, you never know.

I liked the Oscars but I didn't get interested in but one of the films. They seemed okay, just not of interest to me this year.

Err, rather than my original comment, I should just say that we only just caught up to the first episode, most of the plot has been before then.

Ah, only just caught up to the pilot! I lost patience watching long ago. I probably wanted the most recent ep to happen at like episode 5. Still, an interesting turn of events.

♥ Glad you're watching! Look, we're having more and more things in common. Did you watch the Parenthood finale? I watched it this morning in the car on HuluPlus on my iPhone. (Usually have a lot of time in the morning before work and I usually sit in the car and read.) I just.... I don't know what to think of that ending. They covered a lot of ground in one episode. I feel like they should have had a 22 episode season and I would have been happier -- but it was still a fantastic episode. (Trying not to spoil if you haven't seen it.)

I'm not watching Revenge. Moves too slow for me. But Parenthood does move swiftly! I thought the wedding was lovely and earned. I believe Jasmine and Crosby were ready. I thought Adam was crazy to give up millions of dollars. Crosby wasn't sulking that much. He was focused on his wedding and well, Crosby is trying to be a grown up. I say let him. How is Haddie going to get to Cornell now? I don't like Haddie much but she deserves this.

The twist was saying good-bye to Zoe and her son in one instant and adopting a baby with an incarcerated mother the next. They really couldn't wait for a younger child? Just seems a lot for a family that spent months preparing for an infant.

Other than that it was good! Jabbar and Syndey running after the wedding car were so cute. :-)

I do like Haddie so I selfishly don't want her to go to Cornell. Because that means she will leave the show. If she leaves the show, that means Michael B. Jordan will never come back! *cries many tears* I know I'm probably delusional hoping for a Haddie/Alex reunion, but a girl can dream right?

Speaking of Michael B. Jordan, Billy Riggs was on this ep! So we did have a little Friday Night Lights alum to look forward to. Although he was super drunk. But he's Billy Riggins, what do we expect? (I mean, obviously this was a completely different breed of drunk!Billy, but still, I'm pretending!)

I honestly would have rather seen Joel and Julia in actual mourning over the way this adoption ended. I really loved the actress who played Zoe and found her character sincere, although not without flaws of course, so it was very difficult for me to be upset with her. And I feel like Julia felt the same way at least a little bit.

Mark's (Marc's?) proposal for me was the big shocker. (Because I'd read about the actor's upcoming pilot, for one.) He's so adorable and I love the two of them together. That made me very happy.

I have to say that I was completely won over by the Amber/Bob Little romance, and even though they've broken it off, I hope that when (if?) this show is renewed, that he is a part of season 4.

Billy Riggins! I'm still a bit mad at him for letting his brother go to jail so I was protective of Crosby here. Fortunately, he only passed out. :-)

I really liked that Amber made a mature decision. She's going up in my esteem. I like her but I want to like her more!

Michael B. Jordan was in the little video with the actress who plays Haddie! So there is hope because I did like him in this role.

That's very cool! The bit with the blood on his hands-- WOW.

I've been weirdly impressed with their promos for Missing (even though it's clearly Unknown: Now Starring Ashley Judd) and Don't Trust the B in Apt. 23. Maybe they told their promo department to step it up.

Heh. I did! All of Liam Neeson's one-word titled action movies get smushed together in my head.

Wow, I really need to brush up on my LiNee filmography.

Crickets = Fail.

When is Liam Neeson not awesome?

This is a trick question. The answer is this video:

Lol, my whole household watches the show together, and every time we finish one, I'm like:

GUYS, YOU KNOW THIS IS GONNA BE THE GUILTY PLEASURE NIGHT SOAP WE'LL REMEMBER FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES RIIIIIIGHT?! THIS IS OUR TWIN PEAKS! THIS IS OUR DALLAS!

... I am such a dork.

Hahahahah.

Twin Peaks is pushing it. (Because that show was just weird as fuck! Every time I think of David Lynch I headdesk. I have a friend who's a major fan and he has all the DVDs. We had so many arguments about what Mulholland Drive is really about. My answer? DAVID LYNCH IS JUST FUCKING WITH US.)

But yes, this is our time.
