I don't know if anyone on my flist has any interest in The West Wing discussion, but as I'm finally wrapping up watching this show after a few years hiatus, I have some things to say. (They may be brief, but they are things.)
Pardon me, but WHAT THE FUCK? That's how they deal with Toby's confession and dismissal? Dismissal was the right word. He was simply dismissed and then the next episode picks up and there's barely a word about it by anybody except Will? And it's mostly related to him taking over the job, and not Toby as a character.(Disclaimer: I am only 3/4th of the way through the following episode.) And no reaction from Josh on the campaign trail? They just skipped that? After everything? How? Why? So many questions. If there's not some kind of (well done) redemption arc (don't tell me) I will be completely pissed off for the remainder of the series. Also, apologies need to be made. Toby! Sobbing. Uncontrollable sobbing.
