I don't know if anyone on my flist has any interest in The West Wing discussion, but as I'm finally wrapping up watching this show after a few years hiatus, I have some things to say. (They may be brief, but they are things.)

→ Jesus how did I loose track of my flist? Probably those two (three?) days I took to finish up The West Wing, Season 2. (LOVE IT.) Anyway, you guys do not even want to know how many tabs I have open right now. Shoot!

→ QUESTION: What is a reasonable price to pay someone to paint a small to medium size bedroom? I want to say it's 10x11 or 12x11 or something? One wall has two fairly large windows on either side, and another wall has an entrance door and a closet double-door. So not a ton of wall space on either of those. Only two "full" walls. The guy who did our tile says he'll do it for 100 bucks but he hasn't actually seen the room and my dad says it's too much. But I'm not sure. My dad would probably think five dollars was too much, haha. I'm not sure if he's providing all his own tools either. He did for the tiling so I presume he would. Aside from paint and anything else that's 'one use only'. (This is only a presumption.) To me it sounds reasonable but I don't know.

→ I took an in-design class yesterday for work. I may actually be able to fix up The Shephards fanzine so that it can be printed. I never did get to do that. So we'll see!

→ Off to read your posts, pumpkin butts. (That's a term of endearment.)

→ I am four episodes into The West Wing. I have no clue why the hell I'm watching another TV show but I have this theory that it's my alter-ego's secret plot to keep me from writing or being creative in any way at all. Sadly, I lack the willpower to put a stop to these sorts of shenanigans. This may have something to do with the fact that I think I kind of love everyone so far.

→ I don't usually go all public announcement on your asses regarding birthdays. I used to try, but I always ended up forgetting and then I'd feel bad. But she's bestest, so I have no choice! Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] dayln03!!! Guess what!?!? I got you a PONY! (It's being shipped, don't worry! Actually, I got you two ponies. I named them Chuck and Olive.)

→ You know what I never got? bb! I mean. I understand what it means, but when I see it, I think of her, always.

→ I decided to disable the custom comment pages on my journal. They're more user friendly right? That was the purpose of doing so anyway. We'll see how it works out.

→ For those who haven't seen it and aren't a member, [livejournal.com profile] lenina20 posted an entry about shipping and writing in LOST at [livejournal.com profile] thequillstation. There was also a nice discussion by [livejournal.com profile] falafel_fiction the other week about carrying on when canon disappoints. Both great reads and great discussions in the comments. I haven't participated nearly enough in that community.

→ Another thing I wanted to link to when it was first posted but never got around to doing, was a vidding documentary created by [livejournal.com profile] laurashapiro, Francesca Coppa, OTW and MIT. Very cool.

→ I haven't watched the last two eps of FNL, though I hear they're awesome! I also haven't watched the latest episode of SGA. I'd say I'd do that today, but I think I'm gonna hold out until I get some writing done. I'll reward myself with TV. (We'll see how that pans out, hah.)

→ Speaking of FNL, have you guys seen THIS crazy/awesome promo by DirecTV? Crazy! I just might love it.
