So no spoilers, not even a general positive/negative response, but I totally managed to watch all of season 4 of The Killing today. I just can't wait until some of you have watched it and we can talk about it.
Ha! You were all... "I dunno how long this is gonna take me..." and now, BAM! I'm gonna try and at least start tonight (assuming I can find a stream), so I'll get back to you ASAP!
I really wanted to stretch it out and give myself three days at least to digest these last 6 eps. Since we usually watch together, the plan was to watch with mom which would make that easy. I just couldn't keep myself from the pilot this morning. Then the first ep destroyed me and drained me and I was feeling pretty sure even I wouldn't be able to handle all of it in one sitting, let alone her. Later (even though I feared more of the same TBH) I ended up watching the second one on the slight chance it would save me from the emotional dark the first one left me with and it worked! Later in the day it was clear that with my nephew here I probably wasn't going to get to the show with mom at all until after he leaves next Wednesday. Unacceptable. Still took a while for me to press play on ep 3. It was all downhill from there.

I don't want to talk about it here because I'm guessing there'll be folks popping by who haven't seen it yet and you've rightfully advertised this as spoiler free. Also, YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. So I also don't really want to talk about it here because your episode one thoughts will totally be coloured by this and just... MY SHOW IS BACK! OUR SHOW IS BACK.
It's 1am here. There's no way I can watch another episode now. I AM NOT READY, I MAY NEVER BE READY.
