Hey flisties! Happy Christmas. I can't sleep because my new tiny stomach is unhappy tonight. (Surgery went well!) And also because I can't wait until Christmas. Why? Well because I really want my parents to open their gifts from me! Especially what I stuffed in their stockings! This is the opposite of the motivation for my childhood Christmas excitement. And it gets more intense each year. But it's still pretty awesome!

So glad the surgery went well - can't wait to hear what you are feeling/experiencing and how much you're losing at first. EVERYONE is different. My support group has people all over the map!

I realized that my scale was "broken" so I have to go through my spreadsheet and try to remove most of the weigh-ins that I can't be 100% sure about. I may leave a few "in between" ones just to get an idea of how things were progressing since it wasn't completely off and I'm not sure how long it was malfunctioning. That said, going by what the hospital had me at on surgery day, and what my new scale says today, I think I've lost 25lbs since surgery. (And 95 lbs overall!) (Wednesday will be 3 weeks, so I'll weigh again on Wednesday and and see what my 3 week loss is.) I bought a new scale at Costco this week and it is SO MUCH BETTER than my old one. Even when it was functioning I had to step on it several times to get a consistent weight repeatedly on the read-out. This new one is the same weight every time so I feel much more confident with it.

Oh! And I'm going to make a "surgery update" post. I feel like my feelings/thoughts are pretty boring though. Haha.
