So You Think You Can Dance!

I lost track of this show last year because I did not like the format with the kids (8-13 year olds) and it just didn't hold my interest. Partially because of the kids (sorry kids!) and partially because I find judges Jason Derulo and Paula Abdul about as interesting as watching paint dry.

A few days ago I read that they were going to bring back the old format with 18-30 year olds in the competition, and today I read that they're bringing back Mary Murphy with a yet-to-be-announced third judge! Yay! I'm so excited!

Anyone else?

Mary Murphy!!!!! I did like the kids version but I'll be happy to be back to adults too. :)

I did not HATE the kids version, but I do think it should have been its own, separate show. Not a replacement. It's going to be so good getting back to the older competitors and to have Mary back!

That's the best news ever!!! I just didn't feel the kids thing. I never made it past the auditions.

I did make it past the auditions, and then tuned in for the finale, but missed a huge chunk in the middle. It's hard to say what my biggest issue with the last season was, was it the kids themselves (were they not as talented? good? personable? as the adult performers?), was it the judges (Jason and Paula add NOTHING to this show, even if they're lovely people, not that I would know!), or was it the super awkward dance numbers between the kids and the all-stars? A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING I THINK! Haha.
