No! When I was rewatching, I fell for Riley hard. I couldn't remember why people hated him so much. (Okay, so I remembered when I saw his last 2-3 eps, but still...) He was such a sweetheart, and he really did try with her, you know, despite the crazy shit he was up against (Slayer? Still in love with a vampire? Another vampire's sniffing after her?) Plus, HOT!

No no no, canon gives us so many lead ins for these two. There's that whole "never leave your leader" thing, then the fight in UB. I always imagined Kara would corner her little upstart and teach him a lesson or two.
