→ First, one of my flisters [livejournal.com profile] airings made a few gorgeous Baltar collages, here. It is what is described as an attempt to decipher the madness of the mind of Gaius Baltar. It's amazing and beautiful. It reminds me of a lot of the work that people do in the Stargate: Atlantis fandom which is always so creative and thorough and professional looking that you just have to sit back and stare in awe.

→ Second, I was bad and I went and watched the streaming episode over at scifi.com and holy frakking shit you guys! This is and remains the best show in the history of bloody history!
  • Chief and Anders leaning over the railing together. Not sure I need to say more.
  • Tory was so checking out Leoben, she was all "what is up?" Hotdog style.
  • Adama broke my heart after he found out about Tigh. *clutches heart* And Lee comforting him. God I love this show.
  • Baltar and Roslin on the base star kind of broke my heart a little bit. He seemed so vulnerable and, idk, that scene really touched me.
  • The outing of the final four was so abrupt but I'm sort of glad they did it that way. It seemed right. I thought.
  • I think Lee and Laura finally, finally made up, thank the gods.
  • And speaking of Lee? I was kind of glad to hear Tigh call him Apollo, even though he was about to put him out an airlock.
  • I loved that Leoben was kind of playing the inside man for Roslin and Baltar, telling them what D'Anna was going to do next and helping by bringing Baltar to see her. Go Leoben! *draws hearts*
  • The sequence leading up to the jump to earth and all the stuff following it just had me in tears, tears! Chief and Nicky! So sad! Athena and Helo back together, with Hera! Tigh! Kara talking to Kat and Anders looking on. Everybody! Gah! SHOW!!!
  • I don't really know what to say about this bleak post-apocalyptic version of Earth they've landed on. Only, that they finally frakking made it!
  • So much happened in this ep I know I'm leaving half of the stuff I want to talk about out. But one thing is for sure, it blew my motherfrakkin' mind.

Though I think the aspect ratio is off on some of these, musta been how I grabbed 'em.

Arrival!

Omg actual earth!

Aw, Papadama. *snuggles*

*sigh*

I love that this is one long shot with everyone and the camera starts following as Helo and Sharon pass by.

Aw, Anders. So iconnable.

It kinda breaks my heart that she reaches for his hand and he pulls away.

Aww, Baltar.

Dualla!

Six coming to Tigh in this moment was totally sweet, imo.

Leoben!

Kara! Standing kind of next to Leoben!

→ Third, a year? A year!??!!

i know!!! *bounces with you!* I loved that sequence, with Kara running to stop the executions. It was heart-pounding indeed.

And yes, that final scene and the scene before it and the one before it! This show is the best ever. Honestly, I will wait until January because it's so totally worth it. Course, I'd rather have it now but... patience! Eeek!
