Heee. Had you been resisting? I haven't really gotten into fic yet cause I'm trying to save myself from spoilers. Not that I'm sure how much that matters in this fandom.

But I did read one season 2 John/Ronon fic set near lost boys? It was v. v. good. I can definitely get into these two. Hehehe.

Haha, not resisting as such, I just didn't get it other than the hotness. But now that I think about it it makes so much sense, especially from Ronon's perspective.

There are so many AUs and crossovers and stand alones in that fandom that I wouldn't worry about spoilers too much. Most writers are pretty good at warning for them. You just have to learn the fandom cliches (like "aliens make them do it" and "sex pollen") and you're golden. XD

I'm really wishing this wasn't such a one 'ship fandom, now, though, it's killing me.

Oh dear. *cringes* I know this fandom is on crack (good crack, not bad crack like spn) but I dunno if I can read that stuff. Hahaha. I would be giggling too much! (Unless that is the point, then okay.)

Hee, a lot of it is really hilarious, awesome crack, but there's a surprising amount of reallyreally good, serious "aliens make them do it" fics. Like, where it's not just a ploy to get John and Rodney in the sack, but where there are actual consequences (Your Inevitable Unhappy Ending by Helen is my favorite for this, it's so good. And it also goes into the "pining!John" cliche, which might be my favorite).

But long story short, yeah, for the most part all the cliches are meant to induce epic lols. XD
