→ Happy happy burfday to [livejournal.com profile] falseeeyelashes!!!

→ This is weird. It bugs me when people in the library ask me for scrap paper when they really mean a blank sheet/several blank sheets of computer paper. Cause first of all, I go to get them some scrap paper and then it turns out that's not what they want. And second of all, it's totally disrespectful to those perfectly good sheets of paper! I have to cover their little paper ears! Scrap paper? Hah! Not even!

→ Random SGA mumblings. I need to go looking for John/Ronon fic. I've decided. But I haven't decided whether or not to wait until after I watch s4 which will be just plain hard. But I may be able to contain myself. I wanna read some McShep too. Which won't be hard to find, I'm told. ;)

→ I haven't finished a vid since March. I couldn't even do anything for VVC much as I thought I wanted to. This makes me kind of sad. I feel like I'm waiting for something. But the question is... what?

→ My [livejournal.com profile] rounds_of_kink due dates are swiftly approaching. So why is my notebook still blank?

→ In addition, I've decided I'm crazy.

Why?

Well. I have two books from the library to read. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro and the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams. But I also have a couple free books I picked up the other day at the book store (no, that is not a euphemism for shoplifting) which are Hawkes Harbor and The Ha-Ha. I also plan on reading [livejournal.com profile] smercy's epic Billy!fic of epicness, which I have thusly printed out.

Plus I have like, four-thousand episodes of Who, dueSouth, Torchwood, SGA, Veronica Mars, and Life on Mars (no relation) to watch over the rest of the summer. Clearly my eyes are bigger than my attention span. Someone needs to knock some sense into me.

Oh, I also rented our copy of the Band of Brothers set from the library. What the frak, KC? What? The? Frak?

Okay, you and the lack of vidding/writing needs to seriously stop. And I know you know that, and that it's frustrating, but I'm sending good vibes your way. I wish there was something I could do to help hun.

It could be the six dozen shows you are apparently watching. At once. Excellent way to kill any focus whatsoever, lol.

You are probably right, dammit.

There's a reason I only watch like five shows. It's all I can manage to care about.

Go crazy. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro is so worth squeezing it into your schedule.

Hee! Poor real paper being confused for scraps. *pets them, while being mindful of paper cuts*

OH! There's this A-Z book challenge I've been wanting to do where you read a book by an author you've never read before, one for each letter of the alphabet, by last name of course. I've totally been looking for a good 'I' book and Never Let Me Go sounds really interesting - adding to my list now. Thanks for inadvertently helping! ;D

Maybe you could focus on just one show at a time? For now, obviously, focus on Band of Brothers, then focus on SGA as you seem to be really enjoying it lately... Ya know, one thing at a time. Just, well, with other 'one things' going one at the same time, like reading and writing fic... LOL

Oh! That sounds like a pretty neat project! I'd never get it done though! Could you count first and last names? Like could I read two Douglas Adams books for D and for A? LOL.

Yeah that is probably a good idea about focusing on one thing at a time.

I think I might actually return Band of Brothers. I only put it in for two weeks and it's always there at work. Since the students can't check out AV. I honestly don't know if any other teachers or staff members have ever taken it out at all.

I know a lot of people on my flist adore it and my dad and I were here without my mom for a while so I thought, "I'll get this we can watch a few eps." But he didn't seem too interested. Maybe another time?

That? Is the cutest thing I've heard in a while. Glad to know I'm not alone in the anthropomorphizing (sp?) of stationary objects. My note cards also have feelings, as do my colored pens. :D

Hahaha, you know I kinda feel bad for the scrap paper too. It's all unwanted and forgotten...

When I was little I always felt really guilty throwing away my construction paper scraps, they looked so forlorn. I think I still have a bag of them in storage. *is a dork*

On the attention span front: dude, yes. I know what you mean, I had this entire schedule of reading and movie watching planned out for this last week of house sitting, and it just...didn't happen. I felt busy at the time, but nothing was accomplished. =/

Yay for dorks!

Yeah I don't know who the hell I think I'm kidding honestly. And it's not like I'm doing anything productive with my spare time anyway! Sheesh!

I'm kinda like you. I have no idea how many tv shows I have on my laptop to get through, and movies, and I've just got a new season of Alias on DVD to watch. I have no idea when I'm going to get the time for it!
