→ I came home from work and saw that sol_se got her VividCon DVDs in the mail today so I ran downstairs to ask if I'd gotten any packages today. But! Nobody had checked the mail!! So, I went outside traipsing through the puddles in my bare feet, in the dark!, to the mailbox and can you guess what I found inside? (Well, I never said subtlety was my strong suit.) So yes! I am super excited and kind of feel like doing a vividcon marathon this evening. There are tons I have yet to see and I have the TV all too myself! (Though I may stretch it out a couple of days.)

→ I re-watched the movie Eight Below today. I honestly don't care if it's considered good or not, but I love that movie, despite the sadness. Puppies! I miss having a dog. The re-watching was indeed prompted by the new Fast & The Furious trailer. I can't believe the entire principle principal (Thank you kmousie.) cast is returning. That is just loopy! I never watched a single one of the sequels but I am really tempted to watch this one!

Really?! The cast from the FIRST one? If so I'm so with you--never watched any but the first, but I just might have to look into that.

Eight Below was, yeah, so sad. And it weirded me out (anthropomorphizing live action animals is freaky to me), but I liked it well enough. The pups reminded me of a couple dogs I take care of now and then and I just ADORE them....
