→ I got rid of my BSG header. I just needed a change but am too afraid to do anything huge. I think this makes it look a lot different. Well see how long I keep it. I should change some of the colors up too.

→ I watched the remake of The Last House on the Left yesterday. Holy Garrett Dillahunt, batman! That was pretty disturbing. Won't get into details but, um, some scenes just went on a little longer than was comfortable. I'm sure that was the point. But aside from that I thought it held up pretty well to the original. I'm sure hard core horror fans would probably agree. [And how does Tony Goldwyn still look so young? Wasn't Ghost like 20 years ago?]

→ I just finished watching season five of Entourage. I'm slow, okay? But it was awesome. I don't know what it is with this show but it wins me over every time. Does anybody even know if/when it's coming back?

→ Harper's Island. Loved this last ep. No discussion. Just, yeah. It's on.

→ A call to the flist: Who are your favorite icon makers? Stock, fandom, whatever. I'm on the hunt and trolling comms is not always the best way to find good stuff. Especially when people lock everything.

→ Which is one of my pet peeves! How do I want to know if I want to join your stupid comm if everything is behind a lock? Plus it just puts a bitter taste in my mouth. Especially after getting to the error page which you linked from a public comm. People who do that need to DIAF.

→ Incidentally DIAF is another of my pet peeves. It annoys the shit out of me. If "die in a fire" was something people said on a regular basis, maybe the acronym would make sense and not just seem like some trendy pointless thing. Everyone who disagrees can just COMUFOR. That stands for choke on my unforgiving fists of rage. I just made that up, Bebe.

→ I have meant to mention this but I never have. I hope you guys know that my lj memories is where I bookmark lots of stuff that I read/watch/want to rec/use/like/love etc. And they're pretty well organized too. So feel free to browse through those any time. I do forget to bookmark stuff a good majority of the time, but I've been keeping that for quite a while so there's a lot of stuff to browse through if you're ever bored.

I'm somewhere in the beginning of S3 of Entourage. I love it but I always drop stuff to pick up later which turns into 4 months ago... Hah.

My favorite iconmakers... Hmm. Those are the ones with at least 20 icons saved but some have, literally 150. XD
So many pretty icons, so little space (yeah 110 is so few, people tell me but it is!).

If there's a certain fandom you're looking for, I can narrow them down. And sometimes there are makers where I only like one or a few fandoms they icon and then I will only have 5. So. hit and miss sometimes with me.

I can't explain why these things bug me. There must be some kind of irreparable damage to my cerebral cortex.

I do use acronyms too, but certain ones that don't make much practical sense just irritate the piss out of me.

I can count on one hand the times I've seen someone online type out the words "die in a fire" in a context that wasn't explaining what DIAF stood for. And those instances that I'm thinking of were most definitely tragic news stories.

So... IDK. It just BUGS ME. Haha. I am irrational and mean! GAH.

There are other net-slangs that bother me but for different reasons. Like "unf." That is the sound a pig makes when it eats or the sound a person would make after taking a baseball to the chest. It kind of makes me cringe. I have no idea why.

Help me?

Haha! I only responded cuz of how I literally just used it in a post yesterday so I felt compelled to poke fun at myself as well as your reaction.

The thing about any of these acronyms is that they sort of become universally known once everyone starts using them, so if I saw one that I didn't know I'd google that shit, find out the meaning, and then if I liked it I'd use it. Done that more than once tbh. Even UNF! Haha! (But that one more to be sure it WASN'T some acronym I wasn't aware of.) Also I think I've definitely made that "unf" sound in my life as a reaction to tasty food or to tasty looking people. Like Bridget Regan literally makes me make these sounds: UNF! and NNNGGGHHH. ;) But it is also a sound one makes when getting struck by a baseball, you are correct. :P
