Okay, I'll tell you right now that yours should have won. The timing with the voiceovers and the images look completely professionally done. I think the only thing that gave away the fact that it was fanmade was the "Sam/Dean/Winchester" labeling. I guess the judges made their pick based on what looked least fanmade, because they were going to air it.

Even though they aired the winning vid, they should have given you the internship because you totally captured all the snarky/bittersweet/scary/action facets of SPN, and that echoing ending was AWESOME. Fantastic work!

Ah! Creepy icon! Hehe. Thank you so much. I actually submitted two versions of the same promos, one without the titles, and one with them. You were allowed to submit multiple entries. (Of course, I didn't know this until like, the day before I had to mail the promo in order for it to get in time. So it was just long enough to stick both titled and non-titled promos on the DVD I sent in haha. I wish I had known sooner. I would have gone crazy making all kinds of promos!

I actually hate the titles more and more each time I watch it. I was SO proud of those to begin with.

And thank you so much for saying all of that. Really makes a girl feel good!

Even with the titles, you have good reason to be proud of it to begin with - I downloaded your vid, but I'd like to have your non-titled version if you're willing to upload it?

If this vidmaking thing was something you were wanting to do seriously, imo you'd go far with a good mentor. Sorry I don't know any myself, but I just wanted to say that if you're really into it. :D

After all of this, I'm certainly thinking of it. I'll definitely upload that for you. I just need to find the file. It might be gigantic though, haha. I had to render these very high quality for the DVD. This what you're looking at now is much smaller than the actual version.

I'll be back in a bit (hopefully) with an upload for you!

Yeah I just checked my file. It's about 40 MBs and in mpeg format. Plust, it's bookended with my contact information, address, phone number, name, etc. I'll have to re-render it tomorrow without all that and as a smaller wmv file. I'll post it tomorrow for sure!

There ya go! There's an iMeem link above as well. I re-rendered it from my mpeg instead of the project file and there's a weird glitch somewhere in the middle that's NOT in the project file itself. Oh well, I didn't notice it until I'd already uploaded it! I hope it was worth the wait!

Thank you so much! I gotta say, the Nazareth "Hair of Dog" promo was my top favorite, but now this vid is. It fits the idea of the kind of show spn should be. :D

And you should post this on supernatural_tv saying you were one of the top 9 finalists in the competition.
