→ I got rid of my new LG Cosmos Touch (returned it, and they even waived that stinkin' restocking fee, woo hoo) It sucked so badly that I would rather just go back to my LG enV2 even thought the front screen doesn't work any more at all -- so I did. I would get a smart phone but I am stuck because I'm under my father's plan and he refuses to allow me to have a data package. Even with me paying for it myself. If I could afford it, I'd just get my own plan but I really can't. I may get an Octane instead. Anybody have any experience with that one?

→ Even though I've had it on my PC for over a month (estimating) I'm going to the theater to see 127 Hours today with a friend. I've been putting it off for some reason. I think I'm afraid I won't like it as much as I want to like it. I don't even think that makes any sense, logically. My brain works in mysterious ways.

→ The Vampire Diaries -- how is it possible that this show is that good? There's no way. I've been compelled. I'm sure of it.

→ Friday Night Lights is really over. This depresses me in ways that don't make sense to me.

I think I am one of only a few people in this fandom that really enjoyed the Landry/Tyra murder story. It worked for me. Despite the fact that it didn't jive with the very reality-based grounding that the show usually has. But it still worked for me. I think the way it was handled could have been done differently, but the fact that it happened at all wasn't automatically a show-killer for me.

Re: Next week. I'm pretty sure this week's was the last episode! Maybe you're an ep behind?

I just watched the ep where Tyra arrived in Dillon and the football team decision. Is that the end? I hope not.

Nope. You've got one more!

I watched it. I think it's about as good as it gets for most of the characters on the show, and I agree with most of the choices they took. I would have been glad if Jason Street popped up but then again, his name did appear and that BTS at the end was great: everyone looked like babies then.

At least, I'll still be seeing (hopefully) Matt Lauria in The Chicago Code.
