Oh, man, this is spectacular. First, I've always loved this song, and I've never seen it used as well as you have here. The basic color effects, the blues and the grainy overlays and all, look wonderful and really contribute to the claustrophobia and the spiraling sense of wrongness.

I also - I love the psychic kids, I really do, and as much as I liked the finale I hated that it was basically 'hey, look at all these neat characters! Whoops, they're all dead now', and this is a great - well, sort of a tribute video? To all of them, and I like that you brought in as much scope as you could, like the baby of the woman Sam saw on the ceiling in his vision, and the guy Ava sees being stabbed in the parking lot. And the victims of each psychic kid - directly or indirectly harmed, and each kid's responsibility in it. (Did we ever get a better name than psychic kids/chosen children? It seems a little demeaning for a bunch of twenty-somethings, but I can't think of anything else. *grins*)

I also really, really like the overlay of the 'I will not kill' lines, and the lyric/clip choices here, like the 'my oh my's, and the 'you wash your hands' iteration at 1:58 with Sam and then - oh, god, this would be so much easier if I could remember anyone's name - the matching movements of Sam and - uh, Andy? All the moments like that, there's some wonderful internal movement here, like Ava and Sam being killed on the hard beats at 2:44-2:48-ish, and the occasional staccato cutting (like Ava in bed with her husband), which I'm always a sucker for. Sam's revival and return to the fight is really, really seamless, and I like that Dean wasn't highlighted there, this being really just the psychic kids' stories. Mary's death in the beginning is also very neatly, seamlessly done - that's cut between the Pilot and the, what, second season finale, right? It looks wonderful, and is a great introduction to a vid that really is the tying-together of a lot of disparate stories told in different episodes and timelines and often from different viewpoints.

The ending image, of Sam entirely alone in the dead town - ah, that's wonderful.

This is a really, really great vid, and I absolutely adore it. Thank you so much for making and sharing it!

You know, it really REALLY is demeaning that they're called the "chosen kids," or "psychic kids," etc. Even YED's Army sounds better hahaha.

Dude I'm stoked you noticed the overlays of "i will not kill." It was kind of a last minute idea and I am REALLY very pleased with the way it came out. So thanks for mentioning it!

And yes, the opening sequence is cut from both the pilot and AHBL Part 1. It was REALLY fun putting that together. Kind of gives a more complete picture of the whole thing.

I can't thank you enough for such a lovely thought-out comment. It means very much to me that you took the time to type all that out! That you noticed some things I hoped would come across etc. *feels very validated* Heheh.
