Announcement: New Slang

I invented a new word over at daybreak777's journal.

Netflixed = Inexplicably compelled to marathon a show (or watch a movie) just because you discover it's available on Netflix streaming. (Alternatively, this can refer to simply the act of watching something from/on netflix, but that's boring. This is better.)

Used in a sentence:
"I thought I would hate *insert name of show*, but I got netflixed."
"I couldn't stop watching old episodes of Roseanne last weekend. Netflixed, again!"


Examples:
Parks & Rec
Terriers (Although, that was more a long-awaited continuation.)
Switched at Birth (YES, It's true.)

I was totally Netflixed by Switched at Birth, too! Also, Greek and Kyle XY. I seem to be particularly vulnerable to ABC Family shows.

Hee! I am actually kind of surprised by how many people seem to have watched Switched at Birth. It's our secret shame, lol.
