Breakfast Juice #1
Feb. 26th, 2012 07:42 pmI bought a juicer this week and here's a pretty delicious concoction I made this afternoon. I don't know what to call it. We'll call it Breakfast Juice #1:
3 med carrots, ends trimmed
2 sm to med pink lady apples, halved & stems removed (any apple will do!)
1 sm to med banana, peeled
1/2 (or 3/4) cup grapes (any variety)
1/2 (or 3/4) cup blueberries
1/2 lemon, peeled
Wash, peel, slice, or whatever you need to do to prepare your ingredients. Then shove it all into your juicer, and enjoy! Cause it's damn delicious!
It made about 24 ounces but that'd vary depending on the size of your ingredients. Probably not the healthiest juice in the world considering it's 80% fruit and it's got a banana. But I'm pretty sure I don't care even a little bit.

Date: 2012-02-27 02:40 am (UTC)They can be expensive, but this one is a cheaper model and was only 60 bucks at Amazon here (http://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-67650-Mouth-Extractor/dp/B000FHQJ6C). I had 50 bucks on a GC leftover from Christmas, so I took the plunge. I have a feeling it's going to be worth all 10 bucks I spent on it. (And that it would be worth it even if I'd spent the full 60.)
