I think my grapes were pretty sour, and so this juice is also very tart, but I really like that. I swear I will post something with veggies in it soon. I'm working up to it. (Again, this made about 24-26 oz. of juice.)

This is just after juicing and before mixing. Colorful! (I don't know if other people shake their juices? I do.) I have a cheap-ish juicer so there's definitely some oxidation, as you can see.

Breakfast Juice #2
1 cup grapes
1/4 (to 1/2) cup blueberries
1 med to lg. comice pear, stem removed
1/2 lemon, peeled
1 green apple, stem removed
2 kiwifruit (I peeled these, but I don't actually know if it's necessary with my juicer, I figured the flavor would be better this way.)
1 lg. orange, peeled

Wash, peel, slice, or whatever you need to do to prepare your ingredients. Then juice!

Yum! I've put spinach in my smoothies, and it doesn't affect the taste.

I tried a spinach, kale concoction and it was just too much for me, but then I also put a full lemon in it and so it was a little too sour+bitter at the same time. I am going to be doing lots of spinach and kale soon, but I've only been messing with this thing a week and I haven't really had a chance to try everything. I have had a couple of "oh crap I should NOT have put that in there because this is gross" moments. One in particular involves two full stalks of celery. (Bad idea, it's so overpowering. So for someone who's not a big fan of celery, it was pretty terrible!)

Yeah, celery is pretty powerful! I just meant that you shouldn't shy away from spinach if you think it'll mask the fruit flavors, etc. It turns everything green and adds lots of nutrients, but it'll still taste like whatever else you put in it. :-)

I just need to mess with my recipes a bit. Doing a juice cleanse/juice detox starting on Saturday. Should be interesting!

My juicer is difficult to clean :\ Like I wish I had a new one so I'd want to juice more - and it would be easier to wash

Everything is easy to clean except the actual juicer/strainer/grate thingie. You know what I mean I am sure. It's kind of a pain in the ass, but worth it. I have a great brush that works and depending on what I've juiced, it can be pretty quick. But like blueberries are a pain for some reason, lol. Don't ask me why.

ooo pretty icon is pretty :D I want Katherine is just magically show up! I seriously MISS HER! *pouts*

Yeah, that's what I have such a hard time cleaning too, but the benefits of juicing should out weigh that for me, too. I used to juice A LOT and now I just haven't, but maybe I should get back into it :) Especially cause your recipe sounds amazing :D
