Date: 2016-12-14 02:03 am (UTC)I finished a really good book today called The Chilbury Ladies' Choir
by Jennifer Ryan. It's takes place during WWII. When the men go off to war, the ladies are left behind, and the choir uses their song to uplift the town and themselves. It's told through letters, and it made me cry.
