I am 35 and cooked my first Turkey for my and dayln03's shared birthday party about a month ago. It turned out REALLY good so don't be too scared. Though I am already good in the kitchen so maybe I have a leg up on her? I don't know!

I like this phrase "sustained campaign of niceness" hahaha. Perfect. I hope that goes well!

We just got the cold front yesterday here in virginia. Much colder than it has been. I swear there have been several days in the past few weeks when it was 70-80. And now it's in the teens and twenties. Waiting for a snow storm. I couldn't possibly dream of a white christmas. it would be too miraculous. (Not that I believe in miracles.)

That bridge trouble sounds crazy! Someone needs to fix that!
