Gonna talk vaguely about Riverdale, Switched at Birth, and Grey's Anatomy in this post. I'll cut anything that might be spoilery.

Anybody watch the pilot of Riverdale? I got PLL vibes in a way. I have many theories and most of them revolve around the Cooper family. It's like the Archie comics meets Twin Peaks kinda.

Switched at Birth finally came back. I thought they were going to cancel it on the worst cliffhanger, but they gave it a final 10 episodes to wrap-up thankfully. Although it's still just as cheesy as ever, I was glad to see these big dumb characters again. Somehow, even while they're trying to making him sympathetic, I'm still "so totally done" with Emmett. They've ruined his character for me. And it drives me crazy how Bay is swayed by it. I'm not supposed to see him as manipulative because he's depressed, but he still feels so emotionally manipulative and very childish/selfish. With Bay, his mom, Travis and Daphne. Every single person in his life that matters to him. I'm going to be so upset if the writers intend to pair him up with either Bay or Daphne (if she and Mingo don't work out, which... they better! It's the only Daphne related pairing that I've remotely liked since Wilke)! Travis is also acting a bit childish, but the idea that they can't fit 3 people in that gigantic apartment is completely ridiculous, so I kind of understand. Plus, while he could have acted like less of a baby about it, he's not exactly wrong. Bay is making the decision because of stupid Emmett, lol. It's so silly how much Emmett annoys me now when I liked him so much in the first couple of seasons. But I can't help it. He just drives me bonkers.

Did anybody watch Grey's last week? I knew I recognized this week's patient but I was really shocked to discover that she's the girl who played Taylor on Finding Carter. I always thought she was one of the weaker cast members on that show, but she did a really good job in the Grey's episode. And I BARELY recognized her. I knew I knew her but when I realized from where I was completely blown away that it was the same girl. I still haven't finished Finding Carter by the way, even though I really liked it. I need to finish it soon!

I started Playing House on USA before I moved and haven't had a chance to finish it. I'm definitely going to finish it as soon as possible. LOVED IT.

Just this week I started The Mindy Project on Hulu and I completely adore it. So good! I already posted about this once today. Definitely means I'm into it.

I actually really enjoyed Blood and Oil. I haven't had a chance to catch the second episode but I'm definitely giving it a shot. A lot of people are comparing it to Dallas but I definitely feel like it's a successor of Revenge in a big way. Revenge only kept my interest for 1.5 seasons though. So that's not necessarily a good thing. But I already feel like I am more invested in more of the characters here. We shall see!

I'm at a place (a no-cable-having, I get TV through antenna, place) where I can't DVR anything, so I need to make tough decision about which shows to watch live and which shows are actually worth the time to watch online through Hulu/Network apps/*cough*etc. After a totally bat!crazy 2nd episode, think I've decided that iZombie is going to trump Scream Queens in a big way, but then... I already knew that as soon as I realized they'd be sharing a timeslot. So tonight I'll be tuning into iZombie and will probably only catch Scream Queens if I find the energy/interest to watch it on the Fox app for my roommates Roku box.

I am really excited for The Vampire Diaries this week. I know most of you (all of you?) have given up on this show, but I still love it. I'm really excited for this season.

Speaking of TVD, I'm not sure I'm going to give The Originals my time this year. My interest in that show is now next to zero. There are parts of the show that I just love. But there are parts that just bore me to tears. Not sure it's worth it. We'll see!

I really want to try and watch the first two eps of Quantico. It didn't interest me that much but I have a friend who liked the first episode enough to watch more and so I want to see if it's any good. I may hate it, but I'm at least curious now. Before she told me she liked it I had very little interest at all.

I missed last week's episode of Grey's Antomy but I'm still watching. I'll probably try to watch TVD live and I'll watch Grey's on the ABC App or Hulu later in the week.

Some loose ends from summer that I'm still tying up are Young and Hungry and Switched at Birth. Just an episode (or two?) behind on both. Both I still find enjoyable most days!

I still never got a chance to finish the Mr. Robot finale. It aired the week I moved. Somebody fill me in?
